9.2 Grants: Mandatory Cost share check box

Hi,

In 9.2 Grants - Budget Detail page there is a "Mandatory Cost share" check box. Please help clarify below questions?

1- What is the definition of this Mandatory Cost sharing since we can use the cost sharing link to share the cost between sponsor, institution and other third party. Can you please provide some use cases?
2- What is the functionality when we check on this check box.
3- How Grants and PC transactions are impacted by selecting this check box. Does it generate transactions with which analysis type.
