Unable to delete the XLA_GLT_XXXX tables

Hi All,

We are facing a problem where the "create accounting – costs management" program is running for a very long time.

So  while finding the solution for the above I came across the below program "Purge Temporary Journal Import Interface Tables Created By Subledger Accounting"  has to be run to purge these XLA_GLT_XXXX tables, but these tables are not getting purges.

The GL Periods are still open.

Is there any impact on the purge program if the GL period is still open.

Please help me in resolving this issue.
