Accounting Entry Creation Status = "Never" after IUT

We are using the InterUnit Transfer process to transfer an asset within the same business (RET/ADD) unit to resolve a Profile ID issue.  The original asset had a Profile ID with a book that does not generate accounting entries to the General Ledger and the new asset created from the IUT has a Profile ID has a book that does generate accounting entries to the GL.  The IUT correctly created the ADD transaction for the applicable book, however, the open transaction for the ADD transaction has a status of Never for the Accounting Entry Creation.  As a result, no accounting
