Flex Accounting in Sales

We have setup flex accounting in sales but would like a group of items to flex in a specific Business Unit.   We do NOT want to create a G/L category or different document type.  Is it possible to use Brand/Sub Brand and say if it's this particular Brand and/or sub brand use this BU otherwise flex the BU from Sales Order header?
