emcli set preferred credentials

Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 4

Named credentials are setup via the OMS GUI.  They are also set as preferred credentials via the OMS console.  To use them for emcli batch, however, it seems that I must set them via a emcli command.  Someone set default host and oracle database credentials, now I am trying to set the ASMCredsSYSDBA to run batch sql against the +ASM instance.  I ran the below command, which appears to have been successful, but a listing does not show the credentials to be set for the target.  A similar command for target_type "oracle_database" does show default credentials.  What am I missing?
