Error "There are supplier invoice distributions for this task" when trying to rename task

Task created incorrectly as 11.8.1 (should be 011.8.1).  Trying to rename the task but getting the error "There are supplier invoice distributions for this task".  There was one PO and it was canceled.  There are no invoices against the PO.  All requests to update projects have been run along with MSD AP Nightly and GMS Update Actual and Encumbrance Balance.

Any ideas?
