Best practice for Data refresh

Hi All,

Is there any document for best practice method for Data refresh (say from PD to PY)

Supposing we are on a older application release E8.9 SP1 with an Oracle 10g database

What are the steps to perform complete refresh for this (Business data, Control tables etc)?

Steps and sequence to be performed using R98403 and/or backend from database?

What all folders and schema to be backed before performing this activity.

Package build activity post refresh.
