Balancing Segment value not valid for the ledger

Hi Guys,

Need some advise,

i have four OUs/LEs and one ledger, i did not setup an OU for consolidation but just the balancing segment value.

When trying to post adjustment journal against consolidation balansing segment, it wont let me do that and give me the following error

error:this balancing semnet value is not valid for this ledger.

do i need to create an OU/LE for consolidation bal segment 4999 ?

if not what other options do i have?
