NetApp to DataCore migration

Hi guys,

 

we're trying to migrate our NETAPP FAS2240 storage to DataCore. But when I tried to add the new disks (in ASM) to the existing diskgroups (planning to remove old ones after the operation), I received the error :

 

ORA-15032: not all alterations performed

ORA-15038: disk '' mismatch on 'Sector Size' with target disk group [512] [4096]

 

Querying disk properties confirm the mismatch :

 

[root@ocn1test (std ocntest:1) ~]# fdisk -l /dev/mapper/mpath_coretestfra1 (DataCore LUN)

 

Disque /dev/mapper/mpath_coretestfra1: 16.1 Go, 16106127360 octets

255 têtes, 63 secteurs/piste, 1958 cylindres

Unités = cylindres de 16065 * 512 = 8225280 octets

Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes

I/O size (minimum/optimal): 4096 bytes / 1048576 bytes
