Queries regarding AP_VENDOR_PUB_PKG with respect to Oracle Doc ID 1993115.1

Hi,

I came across Oracle Doc ID 1993115.1 - APIs - AP_VENDOR_PUB_PKG.Update_Vendor and AP_VENDOR_PUB_PKG.Update_Vendor_Site no longer supported in R12 release .


We have been using these APIs since long time in our customizations .

Also we are planning to use these in our future developments .

But according to the document Oracle no longer supports these API .

What does this exactly mean? Will not Oracle support if there is any issue in the records created by these APIs ?

As of now we donot have any issue with the existing API and donot want to apply any patch.
