1098-T Generation When a Student Has a TPC and FA

Good morning all,

Using amounts billed, how does the system decide whether or not to generate a 1098-T for students who have financial aid and third party payments?

For instance, we have 1 student who received a 1098-T despite having both Financial Aid and a Third Party Contract, but we have 2 other students in a similar situation who received the following message: "Not eligible for 1098-T - Paid by Third Party and / or Financial Aid combined."

We are on PeopleTools 8.53.10 and CS 9.0 and are using the following as part of our TIN setup:

- We are including Grants and Scholarships under the FinAid Group and Third Party payments under the Third Party Group.
