Cost Roll Up Flag

Hi Folks,

Can we have the Cost Roll Up Flag Checked for a C* (Configured) Item.

I have seen Cost Roll Up Flag checked for components items of a Configuration so that we can Sum up cost of the components and assign it to the configuration.

But what is the significance of having Cost Roll Up Flag checked for a C* (Configuration) in Costing Tab of Master Item in Inventory
