Hi,

On Oracle 11.2.0.4 OLTP ERP + some analytics OLAP databases

i) We want to do an estimation about how much performance in response time will be there after after partitioning the tables- Any way to estimate that and

ii) Also find tables good candidate for partition?

iii) selecting partitioning strategy, what kind of partition for what kind of tables

Need to show this to management before we get approval to  implement this in our environment.

Any suggestion on doing a POC on it or how to do a POC on partitioning?
