EBS R12.1 : upgrade database from 11.20.3 to 12.1.0.2 using golden gate

Hi,

We are upgrading EBS  11.2.0.3 database to 12.1.0.2 and considering using Golden gate  to  reduce downtime  .   IS Golden gate upgrade supported for EBS Database.  If so , can someone point me to relevant documentation
