Essbase 11.1.2.4 - Better on Windows or Linux ?

Hi,

We are doing an upgrade from 11.1.2.1 to 11.1.2.4. We are curious about having Essbase on Linux machine.We have it currently on Windows 2008 R2. Please help with choosing the enviroment having both available. What are the pros and cons?
