12c - StandAlone to RAC using existing node as one of the 2 nodes

Hi

We have a stand alone 12c database on Linux

There is this business requirement asking us to convert this stand-alone database to a 2 node RAC database using the existing database server as one of the nodes

Is there a supported process / document that allows this? i.e. to convert a stand alone database using the existing server (that does not have ASM configured / GRID software installed) as one of the nodes?

So basically we have SERVER-A with 12c database installed - Database is 24 x 7 production database. The database does not use ASM and does not have GRID software installed
