In the event where VR status is.. obsolete System is not allowing to change the batch status from pe

Hi All ,

Can some one explain what is the logic of Application not allowing to change the Batch status from Pending to others in the event of Validity Rule status is Obsolete , as against, if the Batch status is Work In progress , system allows to change the batch status to either Complete or Closed.
