Hi, I am running a small installation (39 targets) of OEM 12.1.0.5 on windows and occasionally received the alert:

EM Event: Critical:/EMGC_GCDomain/GCDomain/EMGC_OMS1 - The heap usage is 92%.

Usually when I check the current heap usage, it has dropped and the alert has cleared.

To try and eliminate these alerts, I used the instructions in note 1920013.1 to increase the maximum heap memory value.  Six days passed without any alerts.  Then today, I received the alert for 92%.  Looking at the history, I can see where the utilization climbs over the day to about 75-80%, then suddenly falls to about 30%.  It had been that way for about 6 days.  Then today, it climbed to the 92% which triggered the alert.  By the time I checked the usage it had fallen to 26%.
