Can you backdate the accrual for Indirect Sales ?

I have a requirement for having the accruals for indirect sales but since indirect sales data is not being imported into the system , I decided to have a lumpsum offer so that the amount gets accrued immediately once the offer is activated.

But the business usually get the indirect sales data and the accrual amount is calculated only in the first week of next month but still want to post the accrual for previous month before they close the books for previous month. Hence I wanted to know if there is any workaround to backdate the accrual by using any other offer types instead of Lumpsum for Indirect sales which are not available in our system.
