Spacewalk 2.4 creating and populating software channels

I have a new install of Spacewalk 2.4 on OL6u7 x86_64. The Spacewalk 2.4 for Oracle Linux Concepts and Getting Started Guide E71709-01 March 2016 recommends defining at least one Spacewalk organization – I have done that.

I think the next step is to create and populate some Software Channels. Chapter 4 of the above doc shows using rhnpush to load data from the ISO image but the command shown ends quickly with message “No new files to upload; exiting”:

rhnpush -v --channel=ol6u7_x86_64_base --server=http://vmsysa.emporia.edu --dir=/media/OL6.7\ x86_64\ Disc\ 1\ 20150728/

No new files to upload; exiting

Howdy, Stranger!
