Hyperion Implementation questions

Folks,

We have some general questions wanted to ask the user community regarding Hyperion Essbase implmentations.  We are in the initial stages of getting ready to implement and there seems to be some confusion\questions in the certification\implementation support.

Our Questions are as follows below.  We appreciate any insight\answers from folks who have Essbase installed.

  • We have been told that EPM 11.1.2.4 only supports SQL Server and Oracle.  Is that true, or is DB2 also supported?
  • We would like to know has anyone installed Hyperion on AIX\DB2 platform?  Any learning experiences that you can share in regards to this?
