Cloning Adjustment functionality

Hi, How should we be using cloning adjustment? Based on testing the cloning adjustment functionality, the cloned sales history is adjusted based on actuals for Recent Sales Threshold . After that no adjustment occurs and it removes the previous adjustments that were present in the previous runs.

Here is a scenario I have clone start and end date set from Jan 2015 to July 2016 to create history. If the item starts selling in May 2016 and the sales threshold is 5 weeks for 5 weeks it will adjust cloning and then it stops adjustment. The problem I see is we run cloning daily in the batch so for the item for the first 5 weeks of actuals coming in I will see my cloned sales being adjusted and then after the 5th week there is no adjustment happening and the cloned sales goes back to the
