Installing CPU Apr 2016 PSU Combo Patch - Question on OJVM installation

I want to install the CPU Apr 2016 Combo Patch.

Reading the readme of OJVM it says "Ensure that the following Oct2014 or greater to be already installed prior to installing this patch".

I don't have this.

Do I need to install the Oct2014?

If I install first the DB Patch of Apr2016 wont it install everything including Oct2014.

So is the below path correct?

1) Install CPU Apr 2016 database PSU.

2) Install CPU Apr 2016 OJVM PSU.

Or do I have to

1) Install CPU Oct 2014 PSU.

2) Install CPU Apr 2016 database PSU.

3) Install CPU Apr 2016 OJVM PSU.
