It is possible to replicate some tables from goldengate 12 to goldengate 10?

Hello

I need to replicate some tables from a oracle 12c database to an old oracle 8i database.

It's possible to use golden gate to replicat data in that environment?

Source:                                                                      Target:

Oracle 12c database with goldengate 12      ----------->      Oracle 8i database with goldengate 10

The trail files generated by goldengate 12 will be understand by the goldengate 10?
