Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hi,

As public cloud is growing rapidly I would like to what an oracleDBA do in RDS/EC2 environment.

Can anyone share your typical duties in such environments? I think patching,upgrade, migration will be gone from dba task-list?

I am have no experience in such environment, and mostly manage on-premise dbs.

If you can share your experience that will be very helpful.
