IBM Operating System 7.3 on JD Edwards World

The 7.3 operating system is now available through IBM (GA date = April 15, 2016).

Oracle plans to certify the 7.3 operating system for JD Edwards World releases prior to the end of the 2016 calendar year, at which time our knowledge documents and the Certifications tab on My Oracle Support (MOS) will be updated accordingly.

Please refer to knowledge Doc ID 2131592.1 (WS: IBMUPG: IBM 7.3 and JD Edwards World) if you are planning to upgrade to i7.3.

NOTE: As of October 2016, document 2131592.1 was updated to state the following:
"Oracle plans to certify the 7.3 operating system for JD Edwards World releases by May 31, 2017, at which time our knowledge documents and the Certifications tab on MOS (My Oracle Support) will be updated accordingly."
