students of different careers in same course and in same term

Hi All,

I have to configure system for the summer program for two careers UGRD and Continuing Education (CED). For UGRD the system is ready and available what are the steps to make system ready for CED who are actually the external students getting enrolled for summer program at my institution. The courses being offered are the same for both careers i-e UGRD and CED.

The CED students would be enrolling into one or two courses in maximum 8 credit hours/units. The CED students on successful completion of summer program will be awarded a certificate of completion.

My question here is do I need to define all the academic structure, term, courses and schedule for the CED career in parallel to UGRD? OR is there a way to skip all the setups and make them enrolled in the courses offered for UGRD as the courses for both careers are same?
