Depreciation question

Dear ,

i use jde 9.0 i have the following senario:

if i adding new asset and the date acquired was 30/4/2016 when i run the depreciation for April this asset will be depreciated for one month however its only start at the end of month i use the "P" how can i remove this issue ? is there any way to recording this? for example if the asset date acquired before 15/4/2016 is ok to be depreciated but if later than 15/4/2016 to be depreciated next month?
