Condition Based Maintenance using EAM Meters

Hi All,  Is there a way to trigger work request/work order (CBM) based on EAM meter reading value.

Requirement:  Have defined a meter in eAM for a temperature gauge, if it captures a reading - outside of normal operating temperature/condition it should trigger a work request/order automatically to notify the maintenance department indicating that the asset needs maintenance.

We know that it can be achieved by defining a Quality collection plan.

But customer is using centralized application to collect Meter reading data for all type of meters they have currently installed in their shop floor and it will be imported into EBS on regular intervals, as all maintenance activities and KPI's are captured from Oracle eAM.
