Order Import: Schedule Ship Date is current System Date when actual value is in the past

Hello Team,

When converting Sales Orders into Oracle, we see the following behaviour in Order Import:

If the Schedule Ship Date of the converted Sales Order is less than the current System Date in Oracle, the Order Import program populates the current system date value in the Scheduled Ship Date and the Promise Date fields.

Is this intended functionality or is there a way this can be negated in Oracle wherein Order Import populate the values as is. This is not happening in cases where the schedule ship date is beyond the current system date.

Please advise!
