Implementing Advanced Pricing with Procurement - Volume Discounts R12.1.3

Hi - I'm curious to hear from others in the community whether they've been able to successfully implement Advanced Pricing with Procurement and Volume pricing - i.e. different prices based on different quantities ordered?

I've gotten the setups done in a test environment and created a simple price list based on dates and this seems to work fine - I create the PO and reference the contract and my prices appear based on my dates on the PO...but I can't seem to get the quantities discounts to work - I've entered the contract on the line but the price for the item remains the same as the unit price entered at the item level no matter what i put for the quantity.
