GSS-API authentication fails with ssh and secure nfs

edited May 3, 2016 9:43AM in Oracle Solaris System Administration (MOSC) Question

I have several machines running Solaris 11.3  (x86_64 platform.)     I think all patched with the Jan 2016 patch cluster release.     I also have several linux client machines.      Accounts and authentication provided via Oracle Directory Server and Solaris Kerberos server.      Kerberos data is stored within LDAP.      Kerberos was implemented to support secure NFS shares in conjunction with autofs    ( share.nfs.sec set to  krb5  )        All solaris servers have an /etc/krb5/krb5.keytab file with the nfs, root, and host principals for that specific server.  Otherwise each server seems to be configured identically.   All systems use nfs v4 as default (linux does not support kerberos with nfs v3.)

Howdy, Stranger!
