How to partially exclude items in a lot from planning?

Hi,

We wanted to know if there is a quick 'one step' way to segregate packaging stocks as 'hold' in Oracle - so they are not used in the horizontal plan.

We currently have defined 2 lot status, STCK and HOLD.

When we have some items in a lot with Status as STCK that we don't want to include in planning we are doing the following -

1. Move it to a new location (say location is - REJECT)

2. Change the status of lot at new location to "Hold"

After we do this once, subsequently when we want to move more quantity to this location where items are on hold, we have to use 3 steps as below -
