End of Month Payment Terms

Our company has a requirement to calculate payment terms such as 90 days end of month.

I read E1: FIN: FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Payment Terms and Advanced Terms Within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial System (P0014, P00145, P00146) (Doc ID 1411374.1) General Question 6, which recommends "In standard payment term set prox date month 3 and day 31."  However, this will not give the right answer for dates such as May 1, 2016 - prox date month 3 and day 31 will give you August 31, whereas 90 days is July 30, and then end of month is July 31.

In the same document, General Question 1 gives two complicated solutions for 45 days end of month.
