Resource abroption account incorrect

When resource transactions are created using interface the debit and credit are created with same account (Resource absorption is same as WIP valuation account)

This works fine when the transaction is created using front end application.

We are not using any costing hook and the issue is observed only for transactions created from interface.

i.e populating interface table manually and create resource transaction.

This is observed in 12.2.4 instance. Has anyone faced smilar issue or is there a known bug. Your help on this much appreciated.
