question on Order Management configuration

Hi experts.

Regarding the order management I would like understand:

1) what it means to use ABO or not?

2) how many of process types exist and which is the default type?

3) which are the process differences between the two (or more) process type?

4) what must I set in order to set ABO instead of default?
