Does having LNGP out of sync cause problems?

The field LNGP is causing problems with our statements.  We are just ready to go-live with statements, but customers who are set up with LNGP = E on F4101 have odd column headings in the statement pdf.  Our default language is English, so there's no reason to have the LNGP set to E.  Since there are more than 4,000 customers with the E, we will be using a method other than data entry to blank these out.

I know LNGP shows up on multiple tables, other than F4101, so I'm wondering what problem it might cause if some of the other tables had the E, but F4101 was blank?
