Inventory Management in Xstore

Hi,

  When we ring an item in Xstore how is the inventory modified in database and what are the applications impacted:

Eg: Item No: 12345 Avl Inv : 10

When I ring an item then what will be the available inventory, will this item be reserved? What are database tables in Xstore are impacted. and what are the applications impacted EG: Locate etc.,

Please suggest.
