Hi , I have implemented Siebel strong encryption pack(AES 256) in our enterprise. I have added a new key to keyfile.bin. Now I have a confusion wheather to reencrypt all the passwords in siebns.dat file or not . Because on oracle support we link" https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14004_01/books/Secur/Secur_DataEncrypt34.html#wp1400932" it is mentioned to reencrypt all the masked parameters in siebns.dat . while during a POC we observed if we do not reencrypt the parameters we are still able to start siebel application and all components , adapters working fine . No error logged in keydbmgr.log.

Howdy, Stranger!
