How a restart of services used to resolve most of the issues

Hi All,

We are using Hyperion 11.1.2.3.501, recently we came across an issue and need your advise on this

Users were unable to log in to application, users can able to access the URL but screen is hanging on authenticating user after the users enter their password and later the services got restarted and the users were able to log in

How a system restart able to resolve the users log in issue and even sometimes if the application went down a restart of services normally resolves this issue as well, so we are keen to know the reason behind this. Can anyone advise on this please
