Can we populate Customer information using Account Description in Sales Orders form ..?

Our Client requirement is to populate Customer information (Account No, Customer Name, Ship To, Bill To and other information) based on Account Description. Right now this field is grayed out; which means we cannot enter account description in sales orders form, 


FYI- Account Description is available in sales order  find window. Here we can search and find the order details.


Can we change Grayed out to enterable field in sales order form.
