How to define Intracompany Balancing Rules for single LE

Hi,

We have a requirement :-

COA consists of 9 segments

Segment1 - Company Code - defined as balancing segment

Segment 5 - branch Code - On this segment we want to define intra company balancing rules,

Can we assign flex qualifier Inter company balancing segment to to segment5 and define rules?

As we want our journals to be balanced at branch code.

Can any one advise?
