Automatically cancel backordered lines in Oracle EBS R12

We have a scenario where we need to cancel backordered lined automatically on a sales order. Say if the SO qty was 100 and only 50 units were available in the inventory, 50 qty got ship confirmed and the remaining 50 got backordered. These backordered qty is in 'awaiting shipping' status on the SO. We need a functionality to cancel these 50 qty on the SO.
