Method to assign PM SR and tasks to preferred engineer in contract coverage template

Hi All,

We have defined preferred engineer in contract coverage template in a service contract, but the autogenerated PM SR not been automatically assigned to this Engineer.
We need the system to behave in this way --
PM SRs/tasks (autogenerated from contracts) should be automatically assigned to 'Preferred Resource (Engineer)' defined in contract coverage template.
Currently it is not happening.
Is there any setup/profile for this? Please reply accordingly.
