Kit Sales order on Backorder

Hi,

We are trying to create a Kit Sales order. and it has several components. Out of those components except two components all items have available quantity.

So if we create the Kit order with either of these components, all the sales order lines are going on back order.

And if we do not have either of these components in the kit sales order, it is not going on back order.Is this normal?

I want to know if there is a possibility of having only those two particular sales order lines to go on backorder and the remaining lines to be not on back order. is this possible?
