How to remove unwanted custom number format in Interactive Reporting?

I have not had any luck in removing unwanted custom number formatst in Hyperion Interactive Reporting.  It seems that once you define the darn thing, even if you make a minor typo, you are stuck with it.  Anyone know how to remove them?
