Workflow Tool

Does anyone know if there is a different tool for work flow?  I am just starting to learn it, on my own and have seen that there used to be a tool.  We are going onto E1 9.2, tools 9.2 and would like to see if there is an easier method of creating the work flows.  I have Googled it, however, because work flows are old, there isn't anything written for using the work flow design.  Any help would be appreciated.
