Inventory Committments

Hi Team,

I am using Jd edwards9.1. My requirement is that, while making sales order with header Branch plant M30, if the inventory is not available in M30, the order should not go in back order and the inventory should be dispatched from branch Plant D30. so the detail branch plant should be D30 by default.

I read the white paper No. 1641298. for preferences.

but the problem here is if I select the branch plant D30 as a preference, then if the order is made with header branch plant as M30 and if the quantity is available in M30 ,, still the inventory will be picked from D30 since D30 has been kept as first preference.
