Hyperion Planning Question

I am having an issues with submitting plans via Smartview when using a Planning Connection.  I have a Planning Application with two Plan Types.  One of the dimensions looks has a parent member of USD and four children of different types of plans all made in USD.  In the first Plan Type, I am sending all the parent and children members.  Plans must be submitted to the level 0, children members.  In the second Plan Type, I am sending only the parent member of USD.  This means that in the second Plan Type the member USD is the level 0
