Filter Operation Assigned Department to Maintenance Departments Only

We have a requirement to just filter those assigned departments whose Cost Category is tagged with 'Maintenance' only. Departments used in EAM in our organization are either Operations or Maintenance. And when assigning a department to an operation, all these departments are listed on the LOV. Is it possible to just display those tagged as 'Maintenance' in the LOV? I have attached some screenshots for your reference.
